🖤 The Contradiction
The most disturbing thing about modern politics isn’t just the hatred.
It’s the contradiction.
You cannot spend years talking about:
- 👩 Protecting women
- 👶 Protecting children
- ⚖️ Defending freedom
- 🇺🇸 Preserving “Western civilisation”
While simultaneously demanding people be returned to regimes accused of crushing all of those things.
That’s the hypocrisy sitting at the centre of modern nationalism.
The Taliban erase women from public life.
🚫📚 Ban girls from education.
🚫🗣️ Police bodies, movement, speech and identity.
Yet some Western political movements seem more emotionally outraged by refugees arriving than by the conditions those refugees are escaping.
That’s what this image exposes.
⚡ Not race.
⚡ Not religion.
⚡ Not nationality.
🏛️ Power.
Because authoritarian politics often speaks the same language no matter where it exists:
- 😨 Fear
- 🔒 Control
- 📜 Enforced “traditional values”
- 🎯 Manufactured enemies
- 🚨 Moral panic
And when politics becomes entirely about enemies, eventually compassion itself becomes weakness.
That’s the real danger.
