🎻 Trump promised quick wins and better deals. Putin, Netanyahu and Beijing had other ideas. On 3 November, voters decide whether they believe him. 🗳️ -
A little tenderness, a bit of cheek, and a reminder that hope can find you in the most unexpected places. ❤️🎈🍑
-
⚡ A remembered £500 energy bill is now around £1,700. As bills and borrowing costs rise, the new price can start to feel normal. 📈
-
🏭 In 1991, four words appeared above the northbound M1: “IT’S GRIM UP NORTH.” Behind the joke was a much longer story of coal, steel, ships, docks — and the towns Britain struggled to rebuild after industry disappeared.
-
🥩 I posted one photograph of my Gaucho lunch. Within hours, strangers were judging the portion, my personality and why I was eating alone. This is what exposure costs online.
-
🥊 My husband doesn’t watch boxing. One look at Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury told him everything: “They look like grandads.” This fight has arrived too late!!
-
🤖 People hear “AI” and imagine Sonny: autonomous, conscious and permanently observing. What they actually have is a language model—and the subscription does not include judgement.
-
🎬 Don’t Look Up asked me to laugh at political absurdity. Chained to the Rhythm understood that we were already dancing inside it.
-
No studio. No careful lighting. No performance. Just a soft body, thick arms and an arse that completely changes the photograph. Sometimes perfection really is that casual. 🖤
-
Some people speak with such certainty that we mistake confidence for knowledge. But class, money and power determine whose nonsense becomes authority—and who pays for it. 💬
-
🍳 Basically a McDonald’s breakfast after it got a job in the City. Eggslut near Liverpool Street was pricier, messier — and pretty damn good.
-
I’ve never understood American football. Strip away the armour, though, and suddenly the formation makes perfect sense. 🏈
-
💿 I bought The Foundation outside Brixton Market weeks after its release. Nearly twenty years later, I discovered why this brilliant R&B album never received the audience it deserved.
-
Sean Connery was my grandad’s Bond. Daniel Craig belonged to a reinvention. But Pierce Brosnan arrived at precisely the right moment to become mine. 🎬🍸
-
🥩 Gaucho is famous for steak. So naturally, I tried the vegan option. 🌱 Turns out eating vegan food occasionally isn’t particularly frightening.
-
He lived too far away, and we never met. But some bodies remain perfectly intact in the imagination—the one who got away without ever arriving. ☀️
-
🥧 The chef left Britain, his recipes went with him, and the apple pie disappeared. Nothing replaced it. A small story about Brexit’s quiet, everyday losses. 🇬🇧
-
Lucy Letby remains at the centre of the story while the babies slowly disappear from it. Perhaps she doesn’t look like your idea of a murderer. That isn’t evidence. It’s projection. 👁️
-
🎸 Oasis are back, the brothers are reunited and the stadiums are full. But without new music, are they selling a comeback—or charging Britain to revisit its own past? 🎟️
-
One filthy sentence from a construction site survived for more than twenty years. Lee had his own language for desire, and it was unforgettable. 😏
-
Most American presidents looked remarkably alike. Then Barack Obama broke the pattern, and the backlash revealed how deeply the old image of power still mattered. 🇺🇸🎭
-
I understand the value of money because I understand the work behind it. But put the right ass beside it? 🍑 Now we have a decision.
-
🏠 In 1957, Disneyland showed visitors the home of 1986. The strange thing is how much of its imagined future actually arrived.
-
Bigger. Hairier. Softer. 🖤 The bodies we’re taught to admire aren’t always the bodies we actually want. Sometimes attraction is much simpler.
-
🥚 Different shells. Same underneath. A simple visual observation about race, racism and the meaning we attach to visible human difference.
-
🏈 Oliver Stone’s football epic is loud, brutal and brilliantly performed – with Al Pacino commanding the room and Jamie Foxx announcing his extraordinary talent.
-
🎭 One year into power and nearly two years before the Falklands War, Margaret Thatcher was already assembling the image that would define her.
-
Two lovers. Somewhere quiet. No rules, no explanations. The heart goes where it goes — and apparently, so did the afternoon. 🌿😏
-
🧼 I’ve never been to prison. Never showered in prison. Yet somehow I know the rule: don’t drop the soap. But what if you actually wanted to? 🚿
-
From left-leaning parents and Liberal Democrat republicanism to Brexit, Downing Street and CPAC. 🇬🇧 A history of Liz Truss becoming Liz Truss.
-
🥦 Herb-roasted cauliflower with peppery rocket, ripe tomatoes, creamy goat’s cheese, grilled green olives and a spicy chilli-oil finish. Fresh, salty, warm and just fiery enough. 🌶️
-
💗 Doesn’t matter where you land on the scale. She’s always there. A raw look at identity, desire, bisexuality — and the glowing pink dot we all carry. 🔥
-
🔎 A row about Sam Smith, pronouns and grammar became something bigger: a snapshot of modern Britain, where facts meet identity, evidence meets outrage, and almost every disagreement becomes a culture war. 🇬🇧
-
🍑 No focus groups. No carefully tested messaging. Just a piece of cardboard, eight words and possibly the most brutally efficient pregnancy-prevention campaign ever devised.
-
🚶 Sometimes you already know where the stairs are leading. A quiet moment about intimacy, comfort, experience — and reaching the point where there’s really no need to ask what happens next. 😉
-
☀️ Sunshine (2007) — the film I keep coming back to. Beautiful, brutal and backed by one of the best casts of its generation. A science-fiction film that somehow gets better with age. 🎬
-
🧠 Confidence isn’t always equal. I spent years noticing the parts of my body I wanted to change — while being completely comfortable with others. Self-acceptance, it turns out, doesn’t arrive everywhere at once. 🖤
-
🎧 I ignored Journals for years because I thought I already knew who Justin Bieber was. Then a friend told me to listen again. Turns out the music had changed — and so had he. ❤️
-
🌍 While politicians rage over borders and culture wars, millions stay silent about the people fleeing regimes that erase women’s rights, LGBT lives, and basic freedoms. Different flags. Similar rules. 🚩
-
😏 The oven was on, dinner was cooking, and everything was going to plan. Then he bent over. Sometimes the best view in the house has nothing to do with the food. 🍑
-
🐑 The crowd loves free thinkers. Until they start thinking freely. 💭 The moment you stop seeking approval, you discover who respects you — and who only respected your compliance.
-
🇬🇧 British businesses were told they would be freer, stronger and more competitive. Instead, many face higher costs, more bureaucracy, weaker trade and an economy learning to manage the consequences of its own choices. 📉
-
💉 Protection begins with information. From vaccination and HIV prevention to testing and health literacy, taking your health seriously is nothing to apologise for. 🛡️
-
⚖️ It always looks calm at the start… until reality starts pushing back. 🔥 Authority can look effortless when nothing is testing it. The real story begins when consequences arrive.
-
🔥 Nothing else matters. No one else matters… and you just let it in. A moment where everything outside the two of you seems to disappear. 🖤
-
🇬🇧 Funny how the “middle ground” was never actually on the table. Brexit became a choice between two absolutes — while workable compromises were treated as though they didn’t exist. 🇪🇺
-
👁️ There’s a way people look back… when they already know what you’re thinking. Sometimes nothing needs to be said. 🔥
-
This is what people say they’re protecting. 🚲 Kids. But in a world where they carry the internet in their pockets… this is where the line gets drawn?
-
🍽️ Familiar pub food, reconstructed with precision. A long lunch at Tom Kerridge’s Hand & Flowers in Marlow – from sausage roll and mussels to beef, crème brûlée and citrus. 🔥
-
🤭 A sentence leaves your mouth, the context disappears, and suddenly you hear exactly how it sounded. Thought. Words. Too late. 😳💦
-
What you see says more about you than what actually happened. 👁️🩷 Same picture. Different eyes. Different assumptions.
-
📍 You are here – not at a destination or an explanation, but at the point where you stop shrinking, hiding and apologising for taking up space. 👀🔥
-
🎧💿 Didn’t rate it when it dropped. Funny how certain songs wait for you — then years later, they carry an entire period of your life with them. 🩷
-
🔐 Blood ties don’t guarantee loyalty, safety or respect. A personal reflection on friendship, chosen family and why a place in your life should be earned through behaviour.
-
Strip it back — and watch what people choose to see. 👀🔥 Same letters. Same board. Different eyes, different conclusions. Sometimes the selection tells you more than the words.
-
Some things don’t need fixing — they just need ending. 🧵✂️ You already know it’s done. The difficult bit is admitting you’re still the one dragging it out.
-
Boys will be boys… but it’s never just that. 🍺🍑 Four arses, one stag do and the sort of male bonding nobody puts in the wedding album. 😂🔥
-
Never flirt at a nudist beach. 👀🌊 Some reactions are a little too honest, and some body language requires absolutely no translation. 😏
-
Compliance on the outside. Coping mechanism on the inside. 🍷📁 A perfectly ordinary return to work — like nothing changed and with absolutely nothing unusual to report.
-
★★★½ / 5 — Mercy (2026). Not quite Minority Report, not quite Source Code — but a solid, entertaining thriller that knows its lane, with Rebecca Ferguson carrying the weight. 🎬🔥💜
-
It stopped me for a second. A new building made to look like it had already survived something — brick pulled apart, concrete exposed and damage turned into personality. 🧱⚡
-
No plan. No recipe. Just what was there — tofu, tomatoes, green beans, garlic, onions, roasted sweet potato and chicken schnitzel — thrown together until somehow it worked. 🍽️🔥
-
Some people create plenty of noise without saying anything of substance. Loud does not always mean heavy. 👄⚖️🖤
-
🤷🏾♂️ Everyone has an opinion. But who gets judged — and who doesn’t? Age, money, power and choice change the rules more than we like to admit. 👀⚖️
-
🚶 Never questioned it. Just did it the way I always had. Then I noticed someone doing it differently — and suddenly something completely ordinary made me stop and think. 🤔🐳 Then I noticed something different. And it stuck with me 🧠🏾
-
📞 You said you wouldn’t text your ex again… but here you are. Your hand hovers, your mind starts rewriting everything, and suddenly it’s “just closure.” 🫠💔😅
-
😌 There’s comfort — and then there’s Omelette-level comfort. Warm spot, completely unbothered, absolutely no urgency. Those cheeks are doing their job. 🍑🐱
-
📮 Reform UK: “Hastings is broken.” One resident: “No it isn’t.” Then came the red ink, a very clear “fuck off” — and Return to Sender. Sometimes the doorstep answers back. 😂❌
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐½ / 5 · 🎬 Arachnophobia (1990) 🕷️ A proper blast from the past. Small-town menace, creeping dread and jump scares that still work. Not prestige horror — just effective enough to have you checking every corner. 😬🕸️
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐½ / 5 · 🎬 Interview with the Vampire (1994) 🩸 Slow. Sensual. Unsettling. Not just blood — desire, intimacy and longing that lingers long after. 🖤
-
⏳ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that removing Trump wouldn’t remove the infrastructure that made him possible. Years later, the interesting part isn’t the quote — it’s how much clearer the pattern has become. 🇺🇸
-
🥩 Slow, rich, no rush. Low heat, deep flavour and time doing the work. 🔥 Nothing fancy — just beef stifado and proper comfort food that hits every time. 😌
-
🤖 I joke, I shout, I threaten the void — but I still say thank you. Manners cost nothing, and if the robots are taking notes, I’d rather be on the right list. 😅📝
-
🤫 Some mysteries don’t want to be solved. Some questions are better left unasked. Sometimes you just have to mind your business and keep moving. 👀🌊
-
👉 Simple, slow and quietly satisfying. 😌✨ Sometimes the best creations are the ones you leave alone, give some time, and let do their thing. 🤌🫙
-
Cozy chaos on a chilly morning — blankets everywhere, legs everywhere, and one tiny furry boss keeping order 😌🐶🛏️✨
-
You walk into a controlled environment… and the first thing you see is this. 🚿🚫 Somewhere along the line, someone made this sign necessary.
