Breakfast near Liverpool Street. Familiar idea. Slightly different postcode.

I ended up in Eggslut near Liverpool Street.

Bacon. Egg. Cheese. Brioche. Hash browns. Coffee.
BREAKFAST, WITH A CITY SALARY

Basically a McDonald’s breakfast after it got a job in the City.

Bacon, egg, cheese and brioche. The familiar breakfast sandwich, just wearing considerably nicer clothes.

And to be fair,
it was pretty good.

The Bacon, Egg & Cheese alone is £10.45 — roughly twice the price of a McMuffin before you’ve even started adding the hash browns and coffee.

THE OBVIOUS QUESTION

Was it twice as good?

That’s probably the wrong question.
