Well, She’s Not Wrong
Some public-health messages require research, consultation and carefully chosen language. Others require a piece of cardboard and absolutely no subtlety whatsoever.
There are entire government departments that couldn’t communicate a message this efficiently.
No consultation. No focus group. No 48-page strategy document. No carefully tested campaign slogan designed to offend absolutely nobody.
“TAKE IT UP THE BUM — YOU WON’T BE MUM.”
I mean, where exactly is the lie? 🍑
One piece of cardboard has managed to combine contraception advice, sex education and British vulgarity into eight words.
And everybody immediately understands the message.
There is something wonderfully British about it too. We can spend years arguing about how sex education should be taught, what language should be used and whether we’re being sufficiently sensitive about it all.
Then somebody turns up at a festival with a marker pen and gets straight to the fucking point. 😂
